Our Story
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and our mission to transform the event industry.
Splinter Wolf Productions & Events was established in January 2025 with the goal of providing and producing high-quality entertainment and event planning services to various diverse communities across the United States. We believe that exceptional entertainment should be accessible not just in large cities, but in local communities as well. Having grown up in rural areas, Kevin and Charles, the founders of SWPE recognized the challenge of traveling long distances for seeing high-quality events and big names. We are dedicated to changing that by bringing communities together through outstanding events and enjoyable experiences locally - at affordable prices. While we recognize that not every event will suit every budget or taste and everyone has unique needs, we invite everyone to come out, have fun, and enjoy a memorable experience with us. We aim to customize your experience to your needs as much as possible.
Kevin Miksis and Charles McMeekin, who are also husbands and proud members of the LGBTQ+ community, bring over 20 years of combined event planning and community engagement experience. We deeply care about each and every client’s experience with us.
In addition to just public-facing events, at Splinter Wolf Productions & Events, we are dedicated to providing top-notch event planning services as well. Our offerings range from in-house DJ services to photography, videography, audio/AV/sound/lighting, and event rentals like mechanical bulls, photo booths, moon bounces, cash cubes, movie screens, tents, tables, and chairs, as well as wedding planning, corporate function planning, convention/large event planning, college/university event planning, venue event management and so much more. Our diverse team’s experience covers all of these areas. Our talent is simply amazing and dedicated to our client’s event success and happiness!
Events can rarely be “re-done” and we understand the significance of them to each and every one of our clients. Therefore, we strive to ensure that each client has a memorable experience, as encapsulated in our motto, "Events. Simplified." We don’t want you to stress about your event or about attending ours. Our Executive Team
Charles M. McMeekin
Co-Founder/Executive Partner
With 8 years of experience in the industry, Charles brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every event.
His experience prior to SWPE is with planning large-scale events exceeding 5,000 attendees, specifically conventions.
Additionally, Charles is an experienced DJ, Photographer, Videographer and AV technician. In previous positions, he has mixed music, oversaw lighting and sound for conventions and large-scale events with thousands of attendees.
His commitment to excellence and attention to detail with every project ensures that each piece of an event is meticulously executed to perfection, each and every time.
Kevin P. Miksis
Co-Founder/Executive Partner
With at least 12 years of experience in the industry, Kevin brings a very large amount of experience to the table.
Prior to SWPE - Kevin has worked, in the past - as a consultant and professional staff member - for several event firms, theatres, community colleges, universities, political campaigns and major corporations in addition to small businesses, including his own side businesses - planning a variety of events, DJ'ing small to large events, overseeing event teams and much, much more - all since being just 8 years old.
Kevin is a dedicated and successful entrepreneur and is known within SWPE as the "guy with the ideas."
His outstanding commitment to community, customer satisfaction and creative mindset ensures that each client is treated like a VIP!
